Professor Andrew Kulman MA RCA

Award Winning Illustrator Andrew Kulman is Professor of Graphic Art at Birmingham Institute of art & design. Andrew joined BIAD ( A Faculty of Birmingham City University ) in 1997, previously he had taught at Brighton University.

Andrew received a D&AD Silver for Best Consumer Advertising and has won several prestigious awards for his picture books which have ben published in USA and the Netherlands. He has exhibited widely in the UK and was selected to represent the UK in the 3rd International Print Triennial in Cairo.

He is an active member of the Association of Illustrators and presented a paper at the 3rd Arts & society Conference which was subsequently published in the Arts & Society journal.
