Terms and Conditions

Users of the Graeme Robertson Trust (GRT) website agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

Disclaimer

  1. The GRT regularly updates the website. The GRT uses all reasonable endeavours to ensure the data on the website is accurate and up-to-date, and where necessary will correct any errors or omissions as soon as practicable. However, the GRT gives no guarantee of the accuracy of the information provided on the website, nor does the GRT accept any liability for any errors or omissions on the website, or the outcome of the use of such information.
  2. In no event shall the GRT be liable for any loss of profit, revenue, goodwill, opportunity, business or other direct or indirect or consequential loss of any kind in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise arising out of the use of the website, save where such liability cannot be excluded by law.
  3. The GRT does not give any warranty that the website is free from viruses or anything else which may have a harmful effect on any technology.

Intellectual Property/Copyright

  1. The copyright in the material contained in the GRT website, save for work in The Gallery, including design, text, graphics, code and software belongs to the GRT. All rights are reserved. None of the material may be reproduced or redistributed without the permission of the GRT.
  2. Copyright of the work in The Gallery belongs to the user that displays it. Users agree that any work displayed in The Gallery is their own work and not wholly or partly the work of another person. Display of the work is done at the users own risk. The GRT accepts no responsibility should third parties copy work displayed in The Gallery.

Usernames and passwords

  1. Upon registering with the GRT website, users will create their login information. The username is the user's email address registered on the site and the user will be asked to create a password. This login information is personal to the user and is not transferable to any other person.
  2. Any breach of security of a username and password must be reported immediately to the GRT.

Access to the GRT website

  1. The GRT will use reasonable endeavours to allow uninterrupted access to the website, but access may be suspended, restricted or terminated at any time without notice.
  2. The GRT reserves the right to change, modify, substitute or remove without notice any information on the website.
  3. Where there are links on the GRT website to third party websites, the GRT does not accept responsibility for the content of these websites.
  4. GRT can remove any content that is placed on the website by the user in contravention of these terms and conditions.

Information

  1. Users will not collect users' information, or otherwise access the Blog, using automated means (such as harvesting bots, robots, spiders or scrapers) without GRT's permission.

User Profile

  1. Users are solely responsible for the information they provide as part of the profiles.
  2. Users agree that any information contained in their profile is accurate and up-to-date.
  3. Users must not include in their profile any information which is offensive, threatening, libellous, defamatory, obscene, and if the profile includes reference to any other person, the user confirms that they have the consent of that person to include that information.

GRT Website Blog

  1. Users own all of the content and information that you post on the Blog.
  2. Users are responsible for any activity that occurs under their login.
  3. Users must not abuse, harass, threaten, impersonate or intimidate other users.
  4. Users must not use the Blog for any illegal, misleading, malicious, discriminatory or unauthorised purpose.
  5. Users must not create or submit unwanted email to any other user.
  6. Users must not transmit any worms or viruses or any code of a destructive nature.
  7. Users must not post content which is unlawful, offensive, threatening, libellous, defamatory, obscene or otherwise objectionable.

Jurisdiction

  1. These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and any disputes are to be decided only by the courts of England and Wales.
